National-day gifting is a smaller window than Diwali, but it is a real one for companies whose brand identity leans patriotic, or that want a lower-key employee gesture between the two big festive windows.
Keep the gift itself neutral
The occasion carries the patriotic theme; the gadget itself does not need a tricolour finish to fit. A standard smartwatch, earbuds or power bank works fine, paired with a card or packaging that carries the occasion.
Scale is usually smaller
Most companies treat 26 January and 15 August as a lighter gesture than Diwali, often at the ₹300 to ₹800 per head band: wired earphones, basic power banks, or small desk gadgets.
Lead time is short and manageable
Because demand is lower than the Diwali peak, stock and dispatch are straightforward. A order placed a week ahead is normally comfortable for either date, for plain stocked models.
